Another exciting, gory, action packed volume that brings us one step closer to the final showdown, and a long lost fan favorite finally returns to battle against an Itto-ryu bad ass!

The action is varied and freaky, but sheesh, sometimes a character's backstory is unnecessary clutter, especially for anyone who has been following this for awhile. If ever I was interested in past history, it would have been Shira's, who, by the way, became a chatterbox during his own demise. But I'm 28 volumes in and there's no turning back.
