Born and raised in the shadow of Boston, Bill Tortolini graduated from Salem State University. Throughout the span of his career, he has held the position of creative director for over two decades. In addition to working on large brands and advertisements for Fortune 500 companies, Bill also became deeply involved in the comics industry starting in 1996. Over the course of his vibrant career, he has lettered comics for some of the most prominent publishers in the world, including Marvel, Dynamite Entertainment, Random House, Disney, Image Comics, among many others. Notable works include Marvel's Anita Blake comics, the various adaptations of Robert Jordan's bestselling Wheel of Time series, Stephen King's The Talisman, Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files, and George R. R. Martin's The Hedge Knight and The Mystery Knight. Bill is an avid Boston sports fan, skier, golfer, and pop-culture aficionado. He lives in Billerica, Massachusetts, with his lovely wife, Kristen, their three children Abigail, Katherine, and Cameron, along with his sometimes-loyal dog, Oliver.
