Continuing our story by Kevin Fahey (writer on the show and protege of comics legend Mark Verheiden) that explores the origins of Gaius Baltar and his life and loves that lead up to the second Cylon War. In this issue, set approximately 2 years before the Cylon Apocalypse as seen in the SCIFI mini-series, Baltar takes his place as the head of the Colonial Defense Network at the Defense Ministry on Caprica. But, as Baltar holds the fate of the Colonies in his hands, "Six" continues to enact her Cylon plan for the cocky Baltar, all the while the pair is heading towards the apocalypse.
