Ra's al Ghul has stolen Damian's body and Batman will chase him to the ends of the earth and beyond to bring his son home. Peter Tomasi expertly conveys Batman's desperation to reclaim his son, giving this volume a sense of urgency throughout. Patrick Gleason, as always, draws the hell out of this book, ensuring every page is kinetic and gorgeous to behold. Because I do my best not to go into the story, thereby ensuring a spoiler free review, there isn't much else to say. This is a gorgeously drawn, desperate chase across the globe that has more than a few surprises along the way. It is required reading for any fan of Batman or quality comics in general. An unquestionable buy.

Not the best volume, but a step up from the last one.

Bruce as a father, and not just a father figure, is truly something to watch. Especially now that he's grieving.

There were a few different artists in this volume and one of them...it was rough. Didn't like it AT ALL. But most of them were fine.

Next is the last. Crossing my fingers on that.

Beautiful and fun to read. Batman is doing what every father would do. I would love Dick Grayson stepping in as batman again but since he was outed in Forever Evil. That will be impossible. Sent on time and I am happy with everything.

One word...intense!

This story arc is perhaps one of the better story lines in the Batman & Robin series. Incredible storytelling with amazing artwork. I can't wait to read the next volume to find out what happens.

Good book, but be aware, this only collects 29 - 34, NOT through 39 as the description states.

Tomasi quickly rised to be one of my favourites Batman writers of recent years.
the way he writes the Bruce-Damian relationship is top notch.
and in the beginning of this story arc, you can see that in a big way when Bruce is willing to risk it all, to save his son.
