I chose three stars mostly because the story is so short and, to my disappointment, doesn't seem in any way to connect with the Batman of the Universe Rebirth story. That could very well change, and this story does set Batman up with a villain and a new side kick. As a standalone issue its mediocre, but fingers crossed it develops into a good series.
