My favorite part in this issue happens towards the end, a surprising major twist they saved, it made me double check what year it came out and sure enough this twist would have hit and been especially significant back in 1988. They don’t write comics like this anymore, not exactly, and it was so cool seeing a comic hitting so close to home and touching on so many real life events or topic.
From the Cold War to espionage, this story has not disappointed and really sets up storytelling as an art form.
Cannot wait to see how this one closes up, been flawless so far with one to go!
