Atomic Age, Vol. 1: Atomic Age

Originally published in 1990, the graphic novel ATOMIC AGE remains disturbingly prescient today. A Latinx journalist in 1957 L.A. uncovers the biggest event in history while contending with casual discrimination by well-meaning whites and overt discrimination by others - all against the backdrop of a first-contact alien out to stop a race of slaves from ending their lives through species-wide geneticide. In a too-cool milieu of 1950s cars, music, fashion and racism, the wryly rueful Atomic Age is where outer space meets the livin' end.
