A great finally to a awesome series.

While I've loved the series from the first pages of Descender, I was a bit sad at the pacing of the last book as it made for a very rushed finish to the saga and I felt many characters suffered from this quick pace. The conclusion was satisfying the complete journey could have been served better by more time to develop the supporting cast of characters.

It felt like the speed of the story telling process changed for this volume. The melody wasn't the same when the beats per second changed.

I recommend reading the previous volume, and then picking this one up directly after. It's a good addition to a great story.

3.0 out of 5 stars O desfecho da ascenção
Reviewed in Brazil on January 2, 2022
