I own the first 2 editions to the Arrow tie in books as well. I have to say this one is by far my favorite. I love how they included characters that we generally miss on the show. I loved Digg's story line because i think it's relevant to our society today. I feel this book does a great job with the illustrations I definitely prefer them over the first two volumes. There are a lot of unanswered questions that will get answered by these stories simple ones, but that's something. For example, does Felicity ever get the bottle of wine she's promised? How does Roy Harper get his suit? or Who was the first person to put in Oliver's head to try and get Queen Consolidated back? A lot of people we've missed make an appearance in this volume and I think some of them are here purposely in order to set up for season four. The banter is well-written. I suggest if you like the first two volumes to try this one.

I bought all the issues in digital format as they were released every other week last year so when this anthology collection came out, I knew I had to grab it. This was a fabulous story and the Brother Blood/Felicity Smoak kidnapping storyline in it was totally the best part. If you love Arrow, its action, adventure, danger and romance? You have to buy this anthology.

It answered a lot of questions about season 3 premiere that I had. It also helped me understand the motives behind season 3 and why they did what they did. Great book I recommend it to everyone who loves the TV show. Also those who just like a good story.

Personally I always find tv and movies more fun when you can tell the creators, actors, and crew are having a lot of fun with it. One of the reasons why Marvel fan culture has been more interesting to me.
This book is loads of fun. They took great care to tie it into the show cannon (even stating in the introduction that this IS cannon), and using the show writers to write the comic script. This volume hits on all the past fun points—Brother Blood, Slade, Arsenal gets his costume, Malcolm Merlyn plots some stuff, and there's a side plot with Diggle and the Suicide Squad.
The tones are spot on as well. Oliver struggles with letting others help him when Arsenal gets shot busting a drug ring. Diggle leads the Suicide Squad on a covert mission to save young girls. And most importantly Felicity awkwardly charms her way right into Oliver's heart.
Arrow is past third season, but this is still a fun fleshy read, worth seeking out and adding to a collection. The writing is great, the art is wonderful, and it offers a little bit of a patch for those off season withdrawls.

The longer story format makes this a far better book as there is more space for characterization, and overall story development and longer action sequences. Having not seen the TV show, this would have been better with a single page or two intro that identified key characters and concepts like a superhero drug periodically referenced. It would have meant the comics instead of just being additions to the TV show would have introduced people like myself who have enjoyed the character in the comics in years past to the new TV universe version. Personally I like the idea of comics in the TV universe since often (as in Supergirl) it is far more interesting than what is currently being done in the comic book universe. Books like this though while better still don't do the job of actually translating the TV version in a way that it is accessible to the non- viewer.

I really enjoy my copy of Arrow season 2.5. In my city, Bologna, it's still unavailable! It's my first comic but the best for sure!

This graphic novel contains three different titles and I would say they all are quite good. As the title suggest these 3 stories are of the time between season 2 and 3. I liked the way writes have fitted in all 3 stories between the seasons and their relevance in both the season. Every story feels natural and linked the two seasons, nothing is forced but the best part is all 3 stories have different dimensions yet they all are connected. These stories give few answers raised in TV series itself, for exp. whether felicity got that whine bottle or not that Oliver promised her in season 1 , How and why Roy got his Arsenal suit even the story behind Oliver's bunk-bed in Arrow cave. Apart from these the book also explains few knows facts from season 3 in more detail, such as how Malcolm targeted SARA, how Oliver even got a chance to have his company back etc.
As I mentioned earlier there are 3 stories by the titles "Blood", "Suicide Squad" and "Green". As the titles suggest first story is the story revolves around arising of a new BrotherBlood after Sebastian Blood and the second one is an adventure of Suicide Squad. The third story is with a new villain altogether still it's linked with the TV series and the first story of the graphic novel itself. All three stories are gripping and the artwork in all the stories is quite good. It symbolized the actual TV characters' appearance yet unique in it's own way.
Overall if you are an arrow TV series fan you'll surely not be disappointed with this.

By far the most entertaining of the three volumes available... & the first two were pretty good. Season 2.5 is very well written, with plots & subplots unfolding at a frenetic pace & the witty banter we've come to expect from the TV show filling each panel. The artwork, too, is much improved. What I like most is how the graphic novels fill the gaps between episodes. Here, we learn how & why Roy received his Arsenal costume, how Oliver Queen tried & failed to regain control of Queen Consolidated, the reason behind Quentin Lance's promotion to police captain & more. Highly recommended!

Come i volumi pubblicati l'anno precedente, anche stavolta gli autori fanno centro.
Strorie di completamento e ottimi disegni (anche chi non è esperto apprezza!).
Per tutti gli appassionati di Arrow... ovviamente in lingua originale.
