I really enjoyed this new story in the Batman Universe. The premise promises some great stories. The ending promises some very interesting character interactions in this series. Plus I really enjoyed the art. It has its own unique flavor, but it works very well. I am excited and eagerly anticipating the next issue.

There are going to be plenty of readers that don't like this as a comic book. But whatever, haters are gonna hate.

Yeah, it seems really out of place that Wayne Manor would end up becoming the place to house convicts. Some may be surprised behind the zoning logic behind it calling Bruce the "idiot son", well, duh, he wants to look like the idiot son. Well, I ain't gonna give it all away, but of course Bruce ends up becoming very involved in the new diggs.

The thing that I'm excited about, is that there's the potential that you could end up seeing Bruce act like a much much darker personality than he really is, in order for him to function in his new environment.

No, this isn't going to be Batman Earth 1 by Geoff or many of the other VERY awesome Batman reads... But this one certainly doesn't feel like it will be a disappointment. Bats does a lot of stuff for a living, this will just be one of the more entertaining things.
