Very fun, very well written. A mix of the new and the familiar, without resorting to Peter living with Aunt May or taking photos for the Bugle.
Nick Spencer set up a lot of plot lines that pay off later in the series. This was way better in terms of both art and story compared to the current series.
I really enjoyed Peter and Spidey separating, some great moments there.

A week ago, I read the BIG TIME vol. 1; and thought it was fine at the end of the fifth or fourth issue. While I was reading it, it was a big deal to open the book up and finish it--it felt heavy. However, when I read an issue of this book, it felt so satisfying. On the exterior, both stories are very similar, they both set up a status quo for Peter Parker, but how they do it is what makes this one better than the BIG TIME. Read it, JUST READ IT. You won't regret it.

Spidey is always good for a variety of strange adventures. Split personal life in a very literal fashion, a giant robot, and relearning how to be who he is.

Art is great story amusing with decent pacing. Enjoyed the romp.

I like this comic book so far. I heard that people are rejoicing because the other guy was taking Spider-Man towards a weird path and since I do not know much, I do not know if it was bad or good. I love the art in this volume and the writing is pretty good. The story was very entertaining and I think there were a few misspelled words unless I misread it. Overall, good volume and I can't wait to get the 2nd volume of this comic.

Ryan Ottley's art is up to the task, and Nick Spencer sets up Spider-Man and MJ, as a couple again (finally), and into the 21st century. Setting right, the wrongs done by the whole stupid "Deal with Mephisto" for Aunt May's life, that true fans know for a fact that Peter & MJ would never have made, let alone what May would have wanted for them.

Great for my collection.

So. Much. Exposition. In the 60-page first issue. Everything is basically reset, but there's all the history that needs to be resolved. A bunch of classic characters are brought back through this first set of issues as well as an old, obscure villain. The story does get better as it picks up speed, but the scene setting in the first issue is a bit of a slog. Hopefully, the second volume will live up to the possibilities of the stories ending.

These are the kind of Spidey stories that made me love the characters so much. Wise cracks from the Web-Head, web-slinging action, and (hooray!) he’s back with MJ.! Oh, but lest you think things might go easy for Peter, think again. He still has to fight everyday problems like rent and losing his job at the Bugle. A great read.

Gostei muito desse novo começo para o Homem-Aranha. A fase ricaço dono de indústrias não combinava em nada com o Peter Parker que os fãs conhecem. A arte do Ryan Ottley é ok, mas longe de ser minha preferida.

The writing is really good, the humor and dialogue is fantastic. It’s like a mini-MCU movie plot. I’d recommend this to beginners, as I had no problem understanding the plot without reading the previous Spiderman comics.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spidey de vuelta a sus raíces.
