Any book that starts with a "pre-emptive fatwa" written by "Pastor Breet Pirkle" get's three cheers from me. I laughed all the way through these first two pages, and kept laughing as I read on through this (pornographic) romp showing how stupid all this terrorist activity and hate of homos in the fundamentalist world is. I recently read in the book BEARDS: AN UNSHAVED HISTORY - in a chapter on Arab/Muslim beards and the emergence of the category "Hot Arabs" on gay porn sites after 9/11 - that a social historian in Germany claimed gays had the unique ability to turn objects of fear (such as Muslim terrorists) into objects of sexual desire, thus making them les threatening. If I ever needed something to prove that point, AL QUAIDA'S SECRET WEAPON would be it. It's a quick fun read. And I thought the secret agent in NY was very hot looking. Some of the jokes about Western gay life style are great too. I'm not sure if they'll amuse all hetero readers, but my brother-in-law, who grabbed the comic from me, liked it. So there is hope (I guess). I do wonder how Muslims react to this book, if at all. If they can laugh at it as well, that would be a great sign, because the cheeky humor here goes both ways.

This book is an inspiration. It informs and educates. I now know the difference between an 'Otter' and a 'Panda'.

In a scheme to compromise unit cohesion in the US Military, Al-Qaeda infiltrates the army with homosexuals. Light story, quick read.

Very well written. The art is wonderful. Very funny, I laughed throughout the entire book.

Imagine what would happen if terrorists decided to train agents to be gay in order to "infiltrate" U.S. operatives..... Wonderful artwork combined with a great "tongue-in-cheek" storyline, will leave you wanting more.

I've been reading a lot of main stream comic books and graphic novels lately that I truly appreciate reading a queer independent when it crosses my path. This one, quite literally, landed on my desk.
Reading it was a joy!
I was super entertained by Al Qaeda's Super Secret Weapon. It was an outrageously ridiculous, over-the-top read, making light of queer culture and its idiosyncrasies. It's an absurdist story not meant to offend, but to crack you up. I could totally relate to the witty humor and loved at the artwork (especially the gratuitous paper doll in the back).
This is a definite read for anyone who is living within "the gay culture" and is willing to laugh at the things that make us tick.

We're half way, still reading this, my husband and I, but it's worth it. We had to stop because it got too inspirational. Funny, sarcastic and sexy. I live in Los Angeles where there are plenty of hot middle eastern boys. This book would be a present gift for a — what you call it? A hummus queen?
