In the conclusion of this two-part story, time is running out for Kashima to thwart the potential plans of his former leader — the megalomaniacal Colonel Matoba — to conquer Japan. The doorway to the present is about to close, leaving Kashima stuck in the past and the history of the world permanently altered.
