Waiting for the bus Steven meets Norma Hokum, the creepy doll-making sister of Betty. Norma clears up a misunderstanding between Steve and Betty, leaving him to re-consider their encounter. Back at the apartment, the blank canvas stands untouched as a voice on Stevens' answering machine invites him to a gala art event full of potential art buyers and well to do patrons. Steven's mood turns foul at the thought and he deletes the message.
