Be honest, does anyone care about the JLA anymore? It's not like we can blame McDuffie anymore. Aren't the JLA supposed to be D.C.'s premier superhero team? Why is Superman on the cover when he doesn't appear once in this issue? Does Wein think he can get away with obvious padding, retelling the history of Amos Fortune? Do we really need the roll call in every single issue? Do you give a damn to come back next issue to see who doesn't make it? Why do I feel like I've gone back in time and reading a title that would have been embarrassing to read in the 90's?
All these questions and more will never be answered and I'm not sure I care anyway.
Come on D.C. sort this team out and make the JLA super heroic once again.
