My expectations were high.
I am not disappointed, Morrison is on ultra fine form with the dialogue and the story. Frank Quietly did the art and it is great i love the way the frog guy is drawn, also Batman and Robin are drawn very well but my favorite part of the art was the flying batmoblie stuff and their is a page witch is just them jumping out with their capes.
The cover is amazing, simple yet eye catching. The yellow background really grabs you straight away and it stands out on the stand in the store. Batman and Robin look good, the detail is amazing, every thing is great on the cover.
The writing is amazing because it is Grant Morrison and he is great at dialogue and characterization. It is a great jumping on point and some new villains are introduced like old toad and these new disturbing characters are introduced at the end which will be very good throughout this arc.
