The covers put me off this series. That skimpy dress sets it up as being exploitative junk, but it turns out that they're not really representative.

Steve Niles has a great reputation for writing good, creepy stories. Maybe science fiction just isn't his bag.

I highly recommend this book to all those who enjoy Bat-titles as well as those who might enjoy a good mystery but are not too familiar with "Batman"

Geoff Johns and Gary Frank have taken Braniac, one of the most troubling, even silly villains of Superman, and have made him very menacing. Good work!
