After years living in the area I never though I would find the store. I used to travel to NY City all the time, it was my only source for shopping. Now Im a customer, Guandango is a cool customer svc rep. Here's to many years of shopping here!

I wouldn’t be reading comics if it wasn’t for this store. I was out of the hobby for years because I wasn’t happy with my old LCS. On a whim, I checked out New Moon Comics back in 2004 and I have gone back every week since. It has a great layout, a friendly atmosphere and an owner that knows and appreciates his customers. Highly recommended.

I have a similar story to Mr. Dooney. I stopped collecting around 1994 because my LCS at the time was putting books in my box I didn't ask for and making me buy them plus making me pay a premium for hot selling books (i.e. I had to pay $25 for Superman #75 the week it came out even though it was on my pull list.). Back in 2004 (or was it 2003 I forget) I noticed that a comic shop, New Moon Comics, open up at the mall whos name shall not be spoken. I was getting ready for a business trip which I would be away for a week and decided to stop in and pick some stuff up to see what had changed since I last read comics. I pick up Marvel stuff mostly with the exception of Superman/Batman and Spawn: Simony (Great Graphic Novel by the way get it if you see it). I was instantly hooked again. The one book that I really enjoyed was Ultimate X-Men. When I got back I stopped by the shopped to pick some more stuff up and talk to the owner, our guy ROB, I had questions about some stuff. He explained to me that Ultimate X-Men took place in a different universe, which explained alot. Rob also told be that there was, at the time, no ongoing Ghost Rider series, I was heart broken. I stopped by often to try out different thing. Rob noticed I was coming in on a regular basis and mention and explain the pull and hold service to me. I signed up right away.

Like the descritpion says, "No hype, no price gouging and no bull!" That is not any truer with Rob and Vicki at New Moon. They are the coolest people and the easiest to talk to. I had to put this example in, when Captain America Died Rob put a copy of Captain America #25 in my box incase I wanted to read it, which I did, and he charged me cover price and as some of you might remember, it was going for $50-$100 the day it came out. The industry needs more shops like New Moon that aren't going to rip off their customers. New Moon is a place for some Great Discussions and Arguments at times. Rob and I might not always see eye to eye on things but in the end we always stay friends. I wish you guys the best of luck with the new online pull and hold system here.
