The rabbit ronin Usagi and his bounty-hunting friend Gen pursue a dangerous criminal only to find themselves at odds with their sometimes-ally Stray Dog!
After missing out on the reward for the rogue swordswoman Inazuma, Gen coerces the reluctant Usagi to join him in pursuit of another outlaw. Little do they know that Stray Dog is after the same bounty and determined to get it. One person knows where the outlaw is, and he's willing to tell, but for a price! Aware he has landed himself in a profitable situation, this scheming individual plays Gen and Stray Dog off each other--leaving Usagi caught in the middle!
