I'm not entirely sure where all the negative comments from this book are coming from. Bendis stated right out that the point of this Avengers title was to get the really cool, quick action paced adventure of old thrown in there, and I felt like this issue did that old-school feel better than any of them yet (however awesome the four splash page sequence from #9 was!). Maybe it was the silver age setting, but I just love the getting back to the old school action style like Mighty Avengers and the Amazing Spider-Man are doing.
