Guys - the NYCC looks like it kicks some serious convention-butt! We California Fanboys have our WonderCon and the big (maybe too big) San Diego party, but I'm liking NYCC's line-up, panels, offerings, and prizes like these A LOT more than SDCC has done in years!

Eric Powell's GOON has been one of my favorite reads since he began with Dark Horse. DH chooses their published titles with precision - and The Goon is probably the best example of the awesome stuff they put on the racks every week.

As for Archaia - hands down the best new publisher of 2007 - and '08 looks sweet from where I'm sitting, too. I collect more of their books now than I do Marvel's...quality books will sell. Keep 'em coming, guys. Thanks for the excellent comics and the stories this past year.
