The powerful Leopard army appears in force at the walls of Rell. The Leopard Chieftain, Merek, gives Koss an ultimatum: Peace or War. He then makes another demand which stuns the Phoenix Chieftain, as he knows that to reject it will mean war and certain defeat. The survival of the entire region rests on Koss and his decision.
