Guided to the retreat by his students, Dr. Ramzi meets his counterpart in Madame Deneuve, a former gem-bearer who has developed the retreat as a haven for gem-bearers and others with special abilities. Here, like Ramzi's foundation the gem-bearers are encouraged to develop their gifts in peaceful surroundings. But something sinister is lurking and evil is revealed as Blackwolf and the Sphinx rear their ugly heads.
