Nazi spies masquerading as Army Intelligence officers kidnap Diana Prince and Steve Trevor. It's up to Wonder Woman to save the day with the help of Etta Candy--Wonder Woman's longtime sidekick who makes her first appearance ever this issue! Then, when Steve Trevor gets discharged from the hospital, Diana Prince must find some other way to stay by his side. She applies for a position as an army secretary--a position she holds in her civilian identity throughout much of her early comic career!
