In the midst of a bitter cold winter storm, the party of Guard mice headed toward Lockhaven with supplies and medicine is split apart. Saxon, Kenzie, and Sadie find themselves below the snowy surface in dark and menacing tunnels mice rarely escape from, while Celanawe and Lieam continue the push towards home and cement their mutual respect for one another.
