Defeated by overwhelming forces, the Lost Legionnaires are taken to the Progeny homeworld, where they face the Progenitor, who reveals how the alien race came to be. The team also discovers Element Lad's fate, but unless they can put their own differences aside, they're in no position to do anything about it!
