Charlotte's "mother," Penny Pincer, offers to take Tifanny and Charlie to Pismo Beach for a weekend getaway. She even lets Charlotte, who just got her learner's permit, take a turn at the wheel of the new hydrofoil. What happens next is...well, not entirely Charlotte's fault. After dodging a cross between the Loch Ness monster and a Land of the Lost castaway, the trio make it to shore. But with all the volcanic activity and pterodactyls around, it doesn't quite feel like Pismo Beach!
