Donald Duck has escaped from the island prison where he was locked away, framed by Scrooge McDuck and Cousin Gladstone. And he escaped with a secret--a secret about a great treasure, told to him by a fellow prisoner. With it, Donald could finally have his revenge on the traitorous Scrooge and Gladstone. But instead of finding treasure or the shores of his home, Donald finds himself marooned on a desert island.
