Cali, girl queen of demons, and Andras, boy marquis of Hades, are called up from hell by Angelique to battle Barnabas and Quentin both at Collinwood and in the netherworld. In "the Black Pit," Barnabas battles "Zozos, the creatures which bear fallen spirits from above to this terrible place." Later, Angelique inflicts upon both Barnabas and Quentin "another, more horrible fate-- the Harppes."
